Pomegranate Wine Jelly Gastrique
*Crispy Duck Breast with a Pomegranate Wine Jelly Gastrique
Here's another use for Pomegranate Wine Jelly! Use it to make a tangy, tart, sweet glaze for a variety of meats and veggies.
1/4 cup Red Wine Vinegar
1/4 cup Pomegranate Wine (or other red wine)
2 TBS Brown Sugar
2 TBS Pomegranate Wine Jelly
*Optional YEP! Spice and/or Aleppo pepper to sprinkle
Combine the red wine vinegar and wine in a sauce pan. Reduce by half.
Add the brown sugar and jelly, reduce to a syrup.
Let cool and enjoy!
*If it gets too thick, just stir in some hot water until it's loose enough to drizzle.
